Dr. Melanie A. Kerber

BIO

Melanie Kerber is a career educator and retired school superintendent. She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and holds a Doctor of Special Education and Administration from West Virginia University in Morgantown. Melanie is also the spouse of a retired Foreign Service officer with overseas and domestic tours in Washington, D.C., the Central African Republic, Kingston, Jamaica and Brussels, Belgium. She is committed to channeling her passion for quality education, elegant event planning, and assisting working parents in caring for the many obligations of daily living with high-quality service and attention to detail. She recognizes the demands of children, aging parents, home ownership, pets, and career and realizes that there are not enough hours in the day to tend to the needs of all. Her desire is to provide relief to clients and improve the quality of life so that individuals and families can enjoy leisure time making memories with friends and family rather than worrying about logistics. Melanie fondly reminisces about her days in Northern Virginia where she was tasked with collecting a small child from school, overseeing homework and after-school activities, starting dinner, collecting a sitter and slinking into something with sequins to dash downtown and attend an embassy event. When people asked, “Where do you live?” frequently heard her favorite response, “In a blue minivan.” Those are the memories that motivate her to assist others and ease their daily routine.

Dr. Kerber will provide clients with a copy of her criminal background clearances from the state police, FBI and Office of Child Abuse. Melanie resides with her husband in Ocean Pines. She and Frank have a grown son, Brandon who resides in Bayonne, New Jersey and works in the anti-money laundering division of Investors Bank.

Wendy Helmuth

BIO

Wendy Helmuth is an educator who has taught pre-k through 8th grade. As a single mother, she can relate to the need for a helping hand to run an errand, provide a last-minute ride for an aging relative to a doctor's appointment, a school-age child's ride to work in the summer or an unexpected early dismissal school pick-up. Some days, clients may just need someone to come and play a game with the kids while mom takes a shower! Been there done that!

Born and raised right here on the eastern shore of Maryland, Wendy traveled for many years, from Colorado to the U.S. Virgin Islands but then came 'home' to raise her own children and to be near her family. She has her B.A. in English from Salisbury University and a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Wor-Wic Community College. Wendy is the mother of two teens, Mary and Haven.
